This is just to let you know that I can’t post comments on any other blogs. This has gone on for several days now and the issue still hasn’t been resolved. I can ‘like’ but not comment, and so I can’t interact with any of you at the moment, so sorry!!!
I really don’t know what to do about it! I contacted Akismet as advised by WordPress but I haven’t heard back from them yet.
Meanwhile, I wonder has anybody else had this problem? If so, would you mind letting me know what you did to resolve it?
I would very much appreciate some help with this.

Yes, I am able to receive comments on my blog and also to reply back. It is only on other blogs that I can’t comment. Thank you so much for your help 🙂

Thanks Sheila…me too, it’s really frustrating…I tried to comment on a couple of your posts twice each but nothing ever showed up!!!! I think its something to do with a spam problem. Well, hopefully it will get resolved quickly…:-)

Hi Dylan, many thanks for replying to this post. Sure enough, your comment was in my spam folder, and so I have approved it as ‘not spam’ and here you are! I will comment on your blog so if you could kindly check your spam folder for my message and ‘release’ it I would be very grateful. This will help send the message to Akismet that my comments are not spam! Many thanks 🙂

Oh no! It’s so frustrating when technology goes rogue! My laptop keeps randomly crashing at the moment. I think it has gremlins! Hope you get your issue sorted soon. This reminds me, must back up my hard drive, I must back up my hard drive. And repeat!

Hi Evie. Yes, it is incredibly frustrating. Isn’t modern technology marvellous…when it works! When it doesn’t, well, don’t even go there! Yes, back up, now, not tomorrow, but right now!!!! I did just the very same thing recently with my laptop. My daughter lost everything not that long ago when her laptop crashed, retrieval would have been possible for a mere £1,500. Thanks for the moral support and good luck with your laptop 🙂

Hey Jude! Well, sure enough, guess where your comment was? Yep…in my spam folder. I marked it as ‘not spam’, as above, and lo and behold, here you are! I will comment on your blog, so if you could do the same to release my comment I would be most grateful! Thanks so much for emailing me about this issue, it makes me feel a lot better knowing I’m not the only one having this pain-in-the-neck issue with spam but of course sorry you and others are also having the same problem.
