My guest post features at Carrot Ranch today. I’m honoured for the opportunity to write about a subject close to my heart and share my passion for increasing awareness of the impact of Asperger’s on Aspies and their families, in the hopes of a better understanding.

Her work has appeared in magazines, anthologies and online as well as long/shortlisted and special mentioned in contests. Once upon a time and for twenty years, she lived in California. Today, she lives in England with her human family, owned by two black cats.

    Great post, Sherri, and nice to see you sharing it over at the Ranch. I think it is important to share information about the Aspie’s experience to help us all develop a little more understanding and acceptance.

I apologise for taking so long to reply to your comment here, but I found it in my spam just now, along with your comment on my Anthology book tour post. The good news is I’ve released you from spam prison, so you shouldn’t have any problem posting here now 🙂 I’ve had this same thing happen many times with WP and although Akismet always sort it out, they never can give a reason why it happens. Hopefully your other comments are going through on other posts now…

    Beautiful and heart-rending Sherri. Your child seems to have hit upon the key: not to worry about our ethnic backgrounds or nationalities, but to search for that human connection with one another so vital to us all.
