Stand And Deliver

This week, I have had the honour of writing my first guest post for an ‘Unsung Heroes’ column at Carrot Ranch. Many thanks to all who have left lovely comments there, and to Charli Mills, Lead Buckaroo, for this wonderful opportunity. My post this month features a cheery delivery driver, a customer services manager called Rob, and Adam Ant. There is a point in there somewhere… Keep safe! ❤

        • Hope your spring has sprung now, Deb! We’ve gone from too much rain to summer here, crazy. Of course, that brings them all out especially with the slight easing of lockdown. But that’s a whole other subject and we’ll say no more otherwise my blood pressure will go sky high lol. Love & hugs my friend, and as always, stay safe too! ❤ xoxoxo

Good to have you riding tall at the Ranch, Sherri! Great debut column for Unsung Heroes. Can you believe, I had never before seen that Adam Ant video? I was deprived, but now I’m complete!

    • Great to ride at the Ranch, again Charli and thanks so much for giving me the opportunity to share thoughts and thanks for our Unsung Heroes. Haha…well, that Adam Ant video is getting on a bit now, so a real blast from the past! I had to watch it to familiarise myself with it! Love it…your life’s dream come to fruition 😀 😀 😀 Keep safe, my friend! ❤

    • Hi Melinda, yes, we are still in lockdown with some easing, but only very slight like those who can’t work at home going back, certain ages going back to school and shops opening from June 1 and some hospitality from July 4th. Still can’t see my boys who live some hours away, no going from house to house and only meeting one person in a public place 2m apart. Not much point of that as the parks and beaches etc are getting full again and we are not out of the danger zone by any means. So for a lot of us that means still on lockdown. Thanks so much for reading over at Carrot Ranch, Melinda. I hope it’s going well over there with you and your family now you’re sprung…as always, keep safe! ❤

  6. Hi Sherri, Hope all is well with you and yours. At least you got the means to be able to exercise – I struggle with persistence at this point. I totally understand the problem with COVID unleashing every possible person to exercise just where you were used to having it almost to yourself. We can no longer walk in the afternoon in the dog park for that same reason – not dogs so much but the bikes, scooters and skate boards and familes doing strange things that sets Muffin off. Great article. Cheers Irene

    • Hi Irene, what a delightful surprise to see you again, welcome back, my friend! You have been sorely missed. We’re well, thank you, and hope you and yours are keeping safe and well also. Ha, exactly. All our usual ‘haunts’ are taken over. Aww…sweet Muffin. I hope you have managed to find an alternative walk for you all safe from the mayhem. Thank you, Irene, glad you enjoyed the read! ❤
