You most certainly can call yourself a published author. It is exactly what publishing houses want when they are looking at publishing a manuscript – articles published in magazines, competition wins and runners-up. Well done. You are well on the way.

You are doing so many fantastic things with your writing. I can’t wait to say that I knew you back when we were both just bloggers working on becoming full-time writers. π

Oh Wendy, thank you so much for your wonderful encouragement and support and such kind words.
I think you and I have both come through some very hard times and are compelled to write. Neither of us could have imagined how starting a blog would have impacted our lives so much.
I’m so proud to know you my friend π

Sherri – congrats on getting those published and also, best wishes on on your future writings.
especially this:
“getting down on paper the words from the book which has been written on my heart for 32 yearsβ¦.” – now this sounds rich and wonderful – and I think these kind of books end up being the best of all books because the material brewed and simmered – and comes directly from the heart. π
anyhow, so glad I found your blog and look forward to reading more stuff in the blogosphere and elsewhere.

Never been called that before Lisa…! And here I am beating myself up about all I ‘should’ be doing and am not doing and all that good ‘stuff’. You make me smile, and for that I thank you greatly… π β€ xx

Hi Marje, how lovely to read your comment today. Thank you so much for taking the time to read this, really means a lot to me. I’ve made some good progress on my memoir revisions, back in the flow, but with such a busy time of year now, I’m more limited on my free writing time. I’m pressing on though, as much as I can, and believe I am getting closer to that finish line! And how are things with your writing going? I often think of you and hope all is well with you… xxx

So glad you are progressing Sherri. I’m getting there but with a new job, and Xmas preparations etc I’m not planning on publishing until 2017… All too much for me. Xxx

Thanks so much Marje. I know that ‘all too much’ feeling. I’ll be signing off here for Christmas shortly. With all the family coming home and so much yet to do, I’ll be on a go slow with my writing once again. I thought 2016 was going to be ‘the year’ but I couldn’t have been more wrong for so many reasons. I’ll be heading into 2017 with you on the same page, no pun intended! I hope you’re okay and enjoying your new job… xxx
