      My dear Seyi, what a delight to read your message today, it has been ages indeed! How are you? How I hope you and your family are well. Right there with you in that current! I miss you too, and thank you so much for still following my blog despite my long and overdue absence from all things online. Since I last posted over 2 years ago, I have been immersed in caring for my mother after her strokes and once she could no longer drive, life took on many more challenges for us both and my family. I had every intention of updating here before now, can’t believe I posted saying I’ll be back soon and it’s been almost another year, arrgh. I will be back though, thanks so much for not giving up on me and the Summerhouse! Much love to you, my friend! :3 🙂 x

    Hi Sherri. Just checking in to see how you are doing. Not sure whether you have stopped blogging and maybe using other social media sites, but it would be good to know how things are with you and your family and your writing.

      Hey Jude! My goodness, I was literally thinking about you recently, wondering how you were, reminicsing about my early blogging years and here you are! I rarely check my blog at the moment, so it’s lovely to hear from you, I’m still here, paying rent to WP in hopes of dusting off the Summerhouse, though dare not say when for fear of jinxing it! So I’ll squeak it out…soon, very soon. I’ve been away from pretty much everything these past 3 years since my mother’s last stroke Christmas 2021 which put an end to her driving and life as we both knew it. I also hardly dare mention the memoir, but it is done and more on that later. You’re still in Cornwall? I particularly thought of you at Christmas as the hub, youngest and I went to Abbotsbury Sunken Gardens Christmas lights and I remembered you posting about it – took me that long to get there and it’s not that far! Great to hear from you, my friend 🙂 Happy Easter xx
