Hello Sherri. One of my happiest Thanksgivings was in London, preparing the American feast for some English friends. I will include you in my thanks this year, and for all we have shared. And I will eat some turkey for you. Gobble gobble…

Ahh Jeanne…how wonderful…likewise, some of my happiest memories are of Thanksgiving with my family in California, my children teaching me a new tradition! Thank you for including me in your thanks and your turkey feast… I will do the same for you when we have our turkey at Christmas 🙂

Thank you so much, Sherri. Hope you are having a beautiful day as well. I am doing a quiet day with my daughter only. We will grill a couple of steaks in the rain and have spicy sweet potato fries in the oven binge watching Hallmark movies. No family fuss, just relaxing and grateful. Sending giant squishy hugs. Marlene

Your quiet day sounds sublime, delicious and utterly deligthful. I am imagining you doing all of these things and I wish you could see the smile on my face just thinking of you 🙂 Thank you dear Marlene, an ‘ordinary’ day here in the UK, but a good one. Middle son’s birthday next week and then of course Christmas, so we will have our turkey then…of course, a mixture of British and American feasting! Enjoy your binge watching and yummy dinner while I squishy hug you right back 🙂 ❤

Son’s birthdays are special. My sons’ was today. I missed seeing him here. I will have him here for Christmas. So it was an ordinary day here too. Christmas will be the time for celebration. 🙂

Gorgeous photo Sher! Short message, grand gestures! Happy Thanksgiving my friend, even though you and I don’t celebrate it officially. But I always love this day, feeling close to my American friends. ❤ xoxo 🙂

You can see I wasn’t kidding when I said this was my shortest post ever Deb, lol! Thank you so much for popping over, I will catch up with you tomorrow. I know just what you mean…it is a wonderful opportunity to focus on grateful hearts and our many blessings sharing Thanksgiving with our American friends in heart and spirit…minus the turkey! 🙂 ❤ xoxo

Thanks so much Luanne…I have many happy memories of celebrating Thanskgiving in CA when the kids were little 🙂 Hope you had a wonderful time and glad you enjoyed the flowers. They’re from my hanging basket by the front door, hoping the bulbs I planted at the bottom bloom nicely in late winter/early spring 🙂 ❤ xoxo

Thank you for the lovely Thanksgiving Day wishes Sherri! I Hope that you had a lovely weekend as well my friend. Matthew and I celebrated with just the two of us going to a football game and then having a smaller meal 🙂

Your Thanksgiving sounds wonderful Heather! I enjoyed your pics on FB 🙂 We did indeed have a lovely weekend, thank you my friend. Hubby and I went to the old Roman city of Bath to the Christmas markets. I thought I might include the pics in my Christmas post, although I didn’t take many, it was very busy! Walking around with a nice cup of mulled wine certainly helped with the cold though! 🙂 xoxo

Lovely Thanksgiving message to everyone and such a beautiful photo. 😀You have quite the eye. Is that cyclamen in the background? How do you get them to survive – as soon as I plant any they wilt and die! Did you celebrate Thanksgiving, Sherri? Wishing you a great week ahead. Hugs. ❤️

Thank you so much Annika, you are very kind. It is indeed a cyclamen! I know what you mean, usually they don’t do well with me either. I’ve planted the one in this hanging basket and a few in the back in pots and so far, they all seem to be thriving. I wish I could tell you why, but I honestly don’t know! They sat in their pots for ages before I got around to planting them, so I thought they wouldn’t do at all well. You just never know I suppose. I hope they last for a little while! We didn’t celebrate Thanksgiving, maybe one of these years we will, but to be honest, with so much to for Christmas and the family coming, I am glad not to have to do the cooking twice over lol! It is middle son’s birthday tomorrow though, we we’ll have a celebration for that this coming weekend when he comes home 🙂 Thank you Annika, I hope you had a lovely weekend and a good week ahead for you too! 🙂 ❤
