Thanks Judy! I haven’t entered Norah’s, but I did write one in the comments, first one in a while! I’m glad my contest isn’t until the end as I’m still working on it! Are you entering? If so, good luck to you too! 🙂 xxx

HA! I am not very good at flash Fiction really, Sherri so probably won’t. 🙂 xxx

You should try it, Judy. 🙂 If you write a flash for one of these contests, I’ll write a completely cringe-worthy poem. *challenge*

Oh, now you have laid down the gauntlet I am going to have to accept !!! I will work on doing it today, and look forward to reading your poem, Sarah 🙂

The gauntlet! 😀 Oh no… I’ll write and post a poem and embarrass myself. I’m okay with that.

Haha…you two have been busy while I’ve been away! Great to see you wrote a flash Judy – knew you could do it, well done! I’m going to write about how I first felt about flash fiction in my contest post; I know just how you feel! And a poem from you Sarah…if I had been here sooner, I would have done the same to entice Judy, but looks like I got out of that one! 😉 xxx

Ha you two are naughty!! I so sometimes try Flash but usually as a poem I did this one with just dialogue , totally out of my comfort zone!! I look forward to seeing your post about how you felt writing your first Flash post x

This looks a great idea, although the instructions are a bit complicated for my simple brain😀. Good luck with yours, Sherri 😀😀

Your brain is far from simple Jenny! You can just do it as a challenge in the comments rather than enter the contest if you prefer. The main thing is to have fun with it. And I know for a fact, your writing happens to be pretty darn good 🙂 Thanks…glad I’ve got time to work on it! 🙂 xxx

This whole month should be fun! So many great contests. (Glad you wrote one, if only in the comments.) Looking forward to yours, too. 🙂

Yes, erm…sorry about taking over your comment section. I hope Judy writes and submits some more flash. 🙂
Have fun with all of these and your murder mystery looks wonderful!

Haha…no worries Sarah, I loved reading your comments! Look how you inspired Judy to write her flash, and yes, I hope she sends more in too! It’s great to get back in the saddle after being away so long…and thanks so much for your support for my murderous musings! 🙂 ❤

Hi Sher. Hold on to your seat . . . I just submitted to Norah’s challenge! I’m calling it Flash Nonfiction LOL 🙂 Nothing is fiction with me. 🙂 ❤ xoxo

Woo hoo! Oh I’m holding and so glad you entered Deb! You go girl! A lot of my flash fiction is memoir too…you’ve written what’s called a BOTS…Based On A True Story! In fact, I’m writing about the non-fiction element of flash ‘fiction’ in my contest post and how it helps us memoir writers, so once again, we’re on the same wavelength! Good luck Deb! 🙂 ❤ xoxo

Thanks for sharing, Sherri. It’s going to be fun. I’m sorry Jenny thinks the instructions are complicated. I tried to make them as clear as possible. It would be great if Judy joins in, and how exciting, I’ve already received Debby’s story. I really enjoyed yours at the Carrot Ranch. Well done.

My pleasure Norah! Your post is going gangbusters, so exciting! I see Judy has now entered and Deb too…fantastic! And thanks about mine. It’s been too long since I rode over to the Ranch and wrote a flash…felt so good and of course, you set a great prompt for the Rodeo kick off *she says waving stetson in the air* 🙂 xxx
