Still Sweet Robin Sings

The world has gone mad, my family’s needs call…

but still Sweet Robin sings.

And the blackbird too.

Take care all, keep safe and be well…

This too shall pass.

What a beautiful reassurance, Sherri! Are you experiencing TP, and other things shortages?? My husband went to Aldi’s, and no TP!! That scares me, to be out of TP!! Corona virus does not. It has a really low mortality rate, much lower than even regular flu.
    How about you?

    • I’m glad it brought a good message, thank you Melinda ❤ It's gone crazy here with TP and other shortages. Haven't seen soap never mind antibacterial, for ages. It gets snapped up as soon as it's on the shelves. Well, some of us can't get there first thing…so greedy, I can't stand it. I didn't know you have an Aldi's there! I love them, we're getting one in our town, opening this summer at long last. Maybe there will be TP there 🙂 I do worry about Coronavirus for my elderly mother and also my youngest who has just had surgery. I am carer for both and it seems to hit people from 60 up hardest, especially the elderly and those with underlying health conditions. So we are being very vigilant but not alarmist. However, with the number of people coughing everywhere, it doesn't help. I feel the weight of responsibility to keep well and hubbie too. No social care exists for people like us. A call to volunteers in communities to help the elderly living alone has gone out with an amazing response. The government is going to tell everyone over 70 to self-isolate for 4 months here to contain it. The impact on society is vast. Italy, France and Spain are in lockdown. We will be next by the looks of it. The problem is we don't know if we are incubating it…hence the self-isolation if we have vulnerable family members, as in our case. Here in our little compound lol…and hopefully not without TP. Keep well, you and yours, Melinda ❤

We (my family) is self isolating, as well, except for my husband. He doesn’t seem to realiZe the risks. DD1 and I both have asthma. We made the sad decision not to go to Mama’s for awhile, because she lives in elderly housing. Not worth the risk to her, and her neighbors. Then, of course, I worry about her isolation. Sigh. Aspie D had surgery? Is she ok? You are one of the sandwich generation, caring for the older, and the younger at the same time. I know how tiring that can be. 4 months?? wow, that is certainly a loooong time, but better safe than sorry! I still don’t get the TP shortage!! Much love! ❤ Sherri.
