I loved yours…wish I had entered now, had to creep in slowly with that old confidence…but yours was the first flash I’ve written in a long time and it felt so good :D.

It was a fun challenge, Sherri. My story didn’t end up quite the way I thought it might when I set out to write it. Funny how those word limitations send us to places we hadn’t previously imagined. I wish you had entered my contest, but your challenge was a delightful read anyway. 🙂

I love how flash fiction does that. So many times my story ends up completely differently to the one I had planned. I never thought that possible! I know…I wish I had, I regret it now. But I loved that I had the opportunity to get back to flash with your wonderful challenge! Giddy-up indeed! 😀 ❤
